Thread regarding Ford layoffs

A leisure day, a farewell day

Monday: notification to everyone, asking to stay in office till Thursday

Tuesday: 'no-job' private meetings with selected folks

Wednesday: 'no-job' private meetings with selected folks + finalization + send out 'you-gotta-job' notifications to the remaining employees

Thursday: 'new-role-assignment' meetings, LL4, LL5, LL6 GSR basically have one 15 mins meeting, telling them where they will go and what they will be doing next steps

Basically today is all day chit chat day, everyone is talking about their new roles, basically has no clues because no supervisors have been assigned yet

I saw some people get emotional get tear, because some of the colleagues will be relocated.

I am also re-assigned to a new role which I have no clue and was told my immediate LL6 supervisor will reach out to me next upcoming weeks

Want to know why Ford is failing just read this post again. Taking job positions and just filling them with random bodies. Not taking bodies, utilizing their skillsets and putting them in positions to succeed.
