Schneider Electric has detailed the first round of layoffs that will come from the closure of its Peru facility first announced in February. The company says 32 employees will be let go over a two-week period beginning July 12, though more than 300 will ultimately be laid off. The Kokomo Tribune reported in April the company decided to move forward with the closure after negotiations to stay had failed.
