i recall someone posting on here a while ago that some stores are getting some sort of beauty centric remodel.. does anyone know what this type of remodel entails? what they do with beauty and what they tend to cut down on for it?

Your DL has no idea what they are talking about or likely you are lying
The beat advisor is based on beauty sales by store
The beauty consultant are nothing but lazy people that walk around and don’t wanna do anything that has to do with task not even dust good riddance
@Zbb81yq-3ycp are you new to CVS? It doesn’t matter whether your CVS makes plenty of money or not. CVS will consistently cut hours and payroll every year.
They are sc-aping the bottom of what they can cut low volume stores, so high volume (stores that typically have beauty advisors) will likely be next on the cut list.
So if certain stores are losing their beauty person, I assume that means there beauty department doesn’t make enough money in corporate’s eyes to warrant having a beauty person. IF that’s the case would that mean those stores might be in line for more cuts in the future?
To the poster that said cutting down on beauty people and payroll, I can confirm that is true. Some stores in my district are losing their beauty advisor/consultant AND the 40 hours that came with that individual. Our DL told us that this was due to cuts as a result of the aetna merger.
Who runs the department? The same people that now run the photo department when Photo Lab Supervisors went away...everyone
If you cut a beauty person out of a store, who runs the department then? I ask because beauty has always been a separate department of the store.
They take out seasonal and add more Beauty where it makes sense .. like a little Ulta in the middle of the store.
Cutting down on beauty advisors and payroll hours
