800 salaried is a small number....thanks for all the hype all these days....made it look like Armageddon...reality is Ford is bloated....800 is chump change.....

In our large department in PD, LL5/ LL6 / GSR moves will all be done today. Sounds like just a lot of moves, no layoffs as our department has been losing people but not replacing them for over a year now.
My husband is a gsr in PDC, his meeting is the afternoon.
I am in PD. It's clear to see from calendars that the supervisors in my organization are all in a 15 minute meeting today that is labelled as a redesign update.
My entire smaller dept. got a notice for a meeting tomorrow morning to update us. Not sure what that exactly means. Was hoping that I would have clarity by the end of today, but I suppose not.
I’ve still heard nothing from my department as of 12:30. Maybe we’ve been spared? I won’t feel safe until June though.
Today is the day. GSR/LL6/LL5. I’m guessing managers would like to get their firings over with as soon as possible and move on.
I'm a GSR and I have a meeting to discuss my status later today. Would prefer not to elaborate on it any further than that, but I don't know where you are getting this idea that GSRs will not be until tomorrow. Is this based on anything more than your speculation?
