There is about 600 stores that will close, so do your math. Pick a number of layoffs, 5, 7, 10 per store.

Once again, it all started at the top with David Jaffe and his pet monkey Brian Lynch pretending to save millions in synergies. What a joke. Smoke and mirrors. The sooner the investors see that the lying Laura is developing fake savings the clearer the story will be that ASNA will not survive. $300MM in saving oh, oh and now they just happened to find another $150MM. Jaffe and Lunch have done a terrible injustice to this company. They will tell you its just a business struggling to survive but boy, sure ran well before them.
Sad day as my wife spent many years working for this failing company of stuff no one wants, Oh well its time for our family to shop more with Amazon and avoid retail like most of america continues to do, They will all fail in the near future as the shift to online continues to grow. Good luck Ascena and your $1.15 cent stock, they will follow radio Shack, Sears,Gap, Payless shoes, Gymboree and many more as wall street predicts about 5800 retail stores closing . ONLINE, ONLINE, ONLINE the public is the reason not the government this time. It is only going to get worse america.
