I was fortunate enough to take the buyout about 18 months ago after years of seeing such a poorly run business slowly dieing. These types of massive cost saving cuts are usually the last stand before the bottom completely falls out and when you only produce one vehicle that anyone wants (F-150) it is only a matter of time. To anyone laid off congratulations!! You know how toxic the culture is, how no one has any pride in the company and/or product and any company where you have to pay for coffee tells you all you need to know about taking care of its employees. Get out, your free, 6 months from now when your at a new company all you are going to think is "why didn't I elect to leave sooner" and "how lucky I am this happened".

In 1999 Ford was so confident about the new century we created a record setting ad to be telecasted around the world so all could see it at the same time. We called it the anthem. Twenty years later we a doing smart redesign.

Yes, the coffee is now free, but I question its authenticity. It’s more a hot liquid that somewhat resembles coffee.
Spend more time with your kids and less money it’s more rewarding. Congrats.
We have not done well in product inception. It seems we have given up on market research and want to quickly develop products to match new successes from other companies.
We used to rely on "price and deal" and did well for decades in that area. That no longer seems to be working
I was let go, 4 kids, all under 10. Minimal savings... Now, you are telling me I am lucky?
Is "dieing" a word now?
We have free coffee now
