@sfw same in our area the LL5 told her pals LL6 and they all went into one LL6 office and hid out with the LL5 until all six unfortunate LL6 had their private meetings. Then the LL4 swoops in and has an impromptu meeting with GSRs and all the LL4, LL5, LL6 all pretend that they just learned about it and were so shocked and saddened. And the academy’s award goes to the LL5 for crying on demand.
Jeez many of us have 5 or 6 decades of life experience and can see right thru the BS. Try honesty.
They just are!
They have figured out the way to appear to release in non discriminatory manner and thus very successful in legal challenges. Just a few promotions of older employees can help argue the case, even though at Ford, Comerica, etc...it was mainly over 50 folks.
The funny thing is most our group all knew who was getting let go weeks ago. That is the problem with management here at Ford. They told everyone but the poor person being let go. And she was one of our best and hardest workers. She just wasn't in the click with the boss and other members.
We call them "Boston Chicken Group".
