Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Is WM even planning layoffs?

I really wonder if Walmart, more precisely its leadership even planning layoffs on a massive scale, given that “making people leave on their own” seems to be a policy that’s working just fine for them ?

They want associates to be happy to take on more responsibilities without raising their wages.

I heard that 15 or more folks were laid off today at the Walmart Home Office in the Buying space. Is this just rumor? Does anyone know what positions?
