There's no requirement for a $10 cap. If we made $8 dollars less would that be so horrible. Will the Company and Certain D-Rates start crying. No Brotherhood in that LOL. I say give an increase, close the gap. If not I VOTE NO AGAIN and we will all be out front making nothing

It's so ironic how the T'rates for Temporary can complain so much about the pay for D rates yet you T'rates knew exactly what you were getting when you were hired. Stop whining and s— it up or go and get a job outside of GE and try to make the same pay as you make now.
I want to vote for contract so will we get free t tste rat money?????? I wanna paint
Only way D-rates are going to get a fair deal is take away the T-rates and union's leverage and that means getting out of the union! If only T-rates are left in the union, GE will take care of the rest. As long as D-rates keep drinking the union kool aid and paying the dues the union can use "YOUR VOICE" as leverage against GE to continue to better their pensions. I'm not saying you'll get this big raise that'll put everyone on a level playing field but the T-rates might find themselves in a very uncomfortable position! Ask yourself this "How many D-rates are negotiating the contract? " The T-rates already have what you want and are more than willing to sell you out for another bump in their pension. So y'all D-rates keep paying them weekly dues every 4yrs and get your ratification bonus, which by the way if you add up your dues over the 4 yrs you're most likely losing $$$, the T-rates will keep pulling away over the long haul.

i bet we will vote yes when the company freezes your pension. lol
The T rate issue is not part of the national contract They were negotiated by each local so don't expect it to be part of any negotiations for the national contract you said yes when you signed up now live with it or move on bet the company will have no problem replacing you
Agree with previous reply. I used tuition reimbursement during my time as a T Rate. When I was laid off 11 months ago I went from a low skill bar shop job to skilled trades position outside of GE. I have no sympathy for those who don’t take advantage of a nearly free education that opens a pathway to better employment opportunities.
Truly wise words from a T rate that hasn't bettered himself and wants to make $35 an hour to hand out gloves.
