The annoucement of his termination said 'We need to get closer to our customers' .... not exactly a compliment to the former EVP of Sales on his way out ... ouch!
He claimed he had a 'turn around' strategy, RH didn't realized AGB was talking about chapter 11 ... think the investors wanted him to turn it around in a 'different' direction.

Not sure that I do understand all contempt for offshore support. There's an old idea that offshore support mean lower quality. But that do not have to be the case. If managers properly organize such agreement, perhaps everybody be happy.
Doesn’t matter who is leading the company ... what matters are the customers ... and customers are still p-ss-d about the offshore support ... sungard made its bed and Has to lie in it .... this titanic is almost at the bottom of the ocean
I’m not a fan of AB, but the dye was cast before he joined sgas... he was brought in to put lipstick on a pig so lenders would loan more money...like I have noted before, after FIS transaction, the previous owners scored their profit windfall and they just wanted out.. hence the sale of the software biz and Sweden ... etc... at chapter 11... they walked away with zero.... why would they do that if they hadn’t already reached their profit target.... get out now...
