Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

10 Days till FL contract expires

10 Days till FL contract expires and no negotiating from Management. Not even a proposal. IBEW doesn’t even have any updates for its members. Could there be a forced lockout?

Don’t worry guys. If anything happens to me I’m good. Incase you forgot, all my employees love me just ask the plus store guys. I know them all by name. I make 3 times more than my brother who is a cop ok. He makes $50,000 a year. I was able to keep my mom at home and provide her at home healthcare. My daughters school is paid for I’m good. My house is paid for, don’t believe me look me up.

If mgmt in other states are indeed in training to come to FL its not only for the techs but the call center employees as well.

Personally, I don’t feel there will be any layoffs in Florida. If there are, it won’t impact me very much because my parents cover most of my bills.

With the current state of the company this will be an interesting contract to see negotiated and for that matter, any contracts coming up in the next year or so. Wishing you all the best either way and hope it works out as this could set the tone for the future.
