I do not work there but my neighbor lost his job at DB today - 25 years there
DB was my dream job when I was graduating in 2000. Not sure if I'd want it now, I am glad I went the consulting route (instead of investment banking).
I am so sorry for all people who lost their jobs.
My husband was let go in NYC today - he was recently hired and now we have to go through the whole process again. It's amazing how much incompetence there is at the bank. Why would they even hire him if they had plans to let him go all along.
