"Hopeful and positive" I can only guess you are in India, or another useless friend or family member of Lori's.
Hope and staying positive is not a good career plan. Bail when you can even if you need to give less that two weeks notice. I had two offers during my tenure at Allscripts. I completely regret not taking either of them but I still landed well after one of their balancing efforts.
