It seems like with the end of the fiscal year, there has been a pause in any layoff action. Has anyone seen or heard of any updates on pending moves?

@ZWGyPeP-4omj -to offer opportunities as smoke and mirror promotions to lower paid associates. They would not know any different. They come in low and go up the ladder much lower than the ones they replace. Good business move.
The memo listed the dozen or so open positions within the learning organization, stating that there is plenty of opportunity within. Why would they encourage employees to take new roles only to reshuffle the players?
Learning organization?? What division? I've heard of training organization but not learning.
The learning organization was just sent an email encouraging associates to "dust off their resumes" and apply for open requisitions. The last time they did this, it was before a major reorg during which managers and higher had to apply for their jobs and after which there were major layoffs at the associate level.
I don’t think it’s safe to assume no news is good news. Plus they’ve been so sneaky about the most recent cuts I’m sure the next round will be handled the same way.
