is this layoff in North America or some other region?
Was part of the package to HCL, have had all customers stop ongoing contracts and work. 0 deals signed or even engaged for since. Have been on the couch ever since joining HCL.
Informed by HCL that my position would be terminated end of september, still getting the CA severance package.
HCL only honors old CA severance policy for 1 year. So it will be interesting to see what happen after 1/1/2020.
Currently in. But trying to go out asap.

It’s been my worst employer. I never seen a worst processes on my live.
I cannot understand how someone can make contracts with this enterprise. It's a complete disaster.
I just pased 3 months and fortunately i'm out of this sh.....
wondering whether HCL will layoff people...
It’s been my second worst employer, my first one went bankrupt.
But I wasn’t expecting much - the whole premise of the company is to siphon US jobs to India doing half the work at a 10th of the cost. Any first world employee is just there to funnel work to India until they themselves can be replaced.
