top management seems to be more crazy and irritable than normal
or is it just me?
They’re making small layoffs weekly across all areas of the company in preparation for the merger. Most departments are spread thin and making due. Will be more redundancies once they recombine. Bob is an operations guy and not a vision guy: look at all the rehash content we’re pumping out now, and how we’re failing to reach our demos on platforms they’re using. No cachet to being on a Viacom network anymore. Eventually the recombined company will be bought for their content library by someone like Verizon and more layoffs will ensue. Enjoy the ride.

It appears that the merger is gonna happen. Calm before the storm?
Viacom and CBS have already laid off a bunch of people over the last year or so, I wonder how much more they'll be able to cut?
