From glassdoor, I'm guessing that the visiting professor didn't know about the $100 million fine.

"Seems to be on a fast downhill slide. Classes are getting smaller and smaller, but I do not know why. DeVry seems to be one of the more ethical companies in for profit education and they make an effort at making decisions in the best interest of their students. But the campus is getting really lonely."

Before I left the company my experience was that everyone on the campus gave false answers on the surveys: campus Deans made sure. No attention to the campus was needed. I never answered any survey’s useless waste of my time. Who cares if the company survives?

So now we are being monitored even more! In our course shells there is a "faculty insight" tab that monitors how often we are in the shell, number of posts, etc.! Oh, and yes, still have pulse checks so the students can evaluate us weeks one and two.

I know when I was there and located on a campus, faculty rarely answered their questionnaires honestly. Low scores from a campus only drew the negative attention of the national leadership, and so most people gave false answers in their futile attempt to fly under the radar.

And that was when there were about 1,000 full time faculty across the realm. The incentive to lie now is (I imagine) fierce when there are so few people...

Looks like DeVry is a great place to work, at least according to the employee reviews and the "Culture of Care" marketing.
