Just got an email from my DSL about adjustments for the transition. Starting july 15, hourly employees 8 hours a day, 40hr weeks. Drivers 9 hours a day, 45 hour weeks. Get those 12 hour days in while you can.

Those are basement numbers, not ceiling. Basically as accounts leave, drivers and merchandisers won’t have as many hours a week but the company has promised to keep paying drivers at least 45 hours a week and full time merchandisers 40 hours a week, even if you work less. If you work 12 hours then you’ll get paid for 12 hours.
Hey Boob, that’s a good thing! If you work more then that you will make what you work. They are basically guaranteeing those hours if the business starts to evaporate (like it will).
It surprises me that people don’t realize that this company is going OVER AND BEYOND what they even need to do to help us maintain our income..
Would definitely be a breath of fresh air for those who get done super fast, and end up shooting selves in foot on getting their hours
