Any word on retention bonus or anything of that nature? I would assume we would get our personal wealth money?

Hopefully one doesn't get the peanut butter chunk if the job offer is questionable and lose the COC. If you don't like what you see, going for $50-100k retention is a shortsighted error reflecting lack of confidence.
You have 90 days to make clear where is your comfort line.
Is this a serious question?
Your PWA account is yours, period. According to the merger agreement, there is money set aside for retention. I don't think we'll know much about it until after the deal closes - just like the voluntary retirement packages. It's business as usual until closing and that's not something APC would pay out normally. Basically until the deal closes, we are in the dark.
Curious about both those myself... only grumblings I’ve heard were that there is $100 million set aside for retention bonuses, but only those labeled as “critical” will see anything and only after a specified time frame. Wealth accounts I heard could be paid out like they did during layoffs, but who knows at this point. Just feels like Oxy is being slimy about anything that will benefit APC employees, they clearly hate our CoC severance and can’t really see them having a huge boner for retention bonuses either. Just more hurry up and wait. This thing can’t close fast enough
