I keep hearing payouts are starting in August for associates. But I hear 20 years and up or 15 years and up also heard 10 years and up Trying to get rid of employees with insurance and high pay. Does anyone really know how many years ???

If you take a bite out, and that’s only if your job is eliminated, you get one weeks pay for your years of service. So if you work 30 years times what you get for one week that is your pay, they go how many hours you work on an average. If you don’t work 40 hours on an average then you don’t get 40 hours per week pay. I hope that makes sense. that’s what your buyout would be. They are not doing buyouts for long-term associates, they’re just changing the names of the positions and you have to reapply. That’s my opinion

I have worked at my store for 20+yrs. And have not had a pay increase for the last 5yrs. So I count on my bonus to cover the offset. It's been over a year my last one. I Have not missed any time or had any bad reviews. But for the last two yrs. Have been worked to death. I see the push to get rid of all 20+yr. Vets. From this place. It's not just a job anymore, it's a slave driven barn. Good luck to all you vets. Use your time off before it is taken away with a line of b—s—...
The only people I know that got a payout worked in the cash office and the UPC office. They worked in those positions for years and didn’t want to go back to working on the sales floor.

It ia true. BUT only for positions that are being eliminated. We have several at our store . if your position is being eliminated. You make a chice of being paid out OR choosing a different positin at lower pay. This is a fact....we have people at our store going thru this

My personnel mngr has worked for walmart for 30 years and shes never heard of Walmart doing a payout to long term associates. She said they would rather coach you to death than pay you to leave. I kinda agree with her. I've worked here 27yrs. Never heard of anyone getting a buy out. I would gladly take one!!
