When I got there in 2012 I asked, "Why the massive building?" The answer was, "It's an asset." Not really, it's a liability as you have to maintain it. And when the energy sector gets clobbered, it always does, who do you lease the space to? Crickets...
This company always seems to be a day late and a dollar short, except for padding the wallets of a select few who are in the inner-circle. The rest of the employees are chaff.
Fishkill? Wow, that was a ton of money flushed down the drain. Should have bought Netflix stock instead.
Other than our downtown neighbor, who would buy an almost all stact company? I think the stock might go sideways after the next sale just because there is no interest in what is left other than having the tallest building in a lower tier state
Harold is sharpening his chain saw waiting for two good quarters in a row. Yeh, he needs space to grow so after the chainsaw sculpturing of the new staff he will move into the big pe--stower in okc.
Or perhaps there is a miracle coming and the easy purchase Hager t–d will suddenly straighten up and sail?
It’s a shame what Devon’s executives have done to a once good company. As a shareholder, I hold them and the Board responsible. Their good, experienced people were either layed off or run off. The rest are quitting. The majors will wait for a fire sale to buy their assets at pennies on the dollar. The billion dollar building will be empty. Really unbelievable. Put in stop loss orders.

A major is not going to make OKC their corporate headquarters. Majors that had an OKC presence in the past: Mobil, gulf/Chevron, Sohio/BP. I doubt that they want to come back.

Good riddance Canada. All we did was fund there constant PTO. What you allow is what will continue.
How long before a Chevron or a Shell buys up Devon? Gotta be soon. Stock price should take an upward bump then. That's what I'm waiting on. Bought some shares back in December when it was in toilet just on the inevitable soon-to-come takeover by a major.
RSU's just vested! I for one am dumping my shares. Devon is a poorly managed company.
