Don’t give RAW the respect he didn’t earn. The “Keep quiet” & “Shovel S**t” quote came out of Corp Comm

This is a reminder of RAW’s motto to “Keep quiet” & “Shovel S**t”
He was let go last week. Sad.
I tell ya I am shocked. A public company looking for ways to give employees the shaft?
Since we have to operate as two separate companies until we close then we can’t offer a voluntary retirement until that happens. And contrary to popular opinion, they aren’t dumb enough to think people would take a voluntary retirement if it’s substantially less than COC. You people just make c-ap up to be p-ss-d about.
I heard he cracked the code with an MVA.
So now there’s a memo stating both companies will have a voluntary severance, only the terms won’t be revealed until after the close. Who’s advocating for APC employees, Nancy Pelosi? “We have to have the close before we can see the terms of the close (regarding employees).”
By now it’s clear that oxy is trying to evade the CoC. If they weren’t, wouldn’t they at least compare the VSP to the CoC qualitatively?
Edit to last post: unless they offer a voluntary severance that is not CoC and you take it.
Read the change of control. You can find it only. Unless they fire you for cause, then during a change of control and 3 years after, you have to get the change of control package. There is no other severance for APC employees during that time.
Who enforces the CoC? If the CoC is going to cost Oxy a lot of money why would they not try to get around it or not even offer CoC specific packages. Yes Oxy will offer some kind of severance package, to both companies employees, but why is everyone so sure of the CoC?
Oh so he was looking out for us? Shocker that the powers that be didn't like that.
The rumor Oxy is trying to bypass the CoC has been pretty strong in the hallways.
Rumors are there was a meeting with advanced analytics people where there was information shared by this guy. Someone from that group took notes and sent a summary email that spread around the company. Apparently, some of the comments had to do with what this person thought was best and had comments about how acquiring company might try to get around paying certain things.
I heard he shared too much in a meeting. He is on administrative leave methinks.
