In the stores that were converted into hub stores? Now that Atlanta is getting 17 stores that will be converted in September that our question ? Someone just mentioned that the existing store manager has to interview for that position that was created to run the store?

I suspect they are looking for a purpose driven leader who creates a one team environment with incredible store standards, in-stock, and service outcomes. Store manager RX would probably not be necessary, but preferred. Will also likely need to be very comfortable hosting high profile visits in your store, possibly very frequently, which means your store must always look as close to perfect as possible in case unexpected pop ins happen.
If you are looking to do more, then the HealthHUB is potentially great exposure, but it sounds like it is a lot of work. In my opinion, they will need someone who wants to do this and is able to lead teams through major change.
If this is you, then apply! Even if it’s your own store. If this isn’t something you’re interested in, then be upfront about that. They will likely move you to another location.
Ouch! So what happens then if you "don't qualify" to become a health hub operator? Do you get transferred to a regular store? Or get demoted to 2nd in command but stay at that store? I suspect however, that IF your a store manager RX that your ok.
