Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

Frontier is a sinking ship

They don't care about their employees and the hire ups don't fight for you. Deland, Fl had major cut backs in commission in there sales que. They constantly make goals ridiculously high and pay us less. 9 years of always hitting past top goal and now I'm missing thousands from my checks and forced to work harder for nothing. Frontier just lost another well seasoned employee and there's more following me. Soon Deland will be filled with all new bodies with very Very little knowledge. Customer service will only get worse.

I don’t understand why there are so many Vice Presidents. Seems like the company needs to drain this swamp a bit and replace these overpaid yes men with some educated / experienced professionals. I wonder how many Vice Presidents and above even have anything more than a high school diploma / GED. Losing customers / profit yet paying so many ridiculous salaries makes no sense. There needs to be accountability at the top.

Deland is low cost cheap labor that is why they get more sales calls. They pay them half of what the other call centers make.

Deland is NOT the problem we have always been on top. Blame everyone if you're gonna take it there. The techs are ridiculous and vrndors.

Frontier only wants low cost contractors to do all jobs. They don't care about anything, they don't know how anything works, they have no clue. The college kids from Bain are just cutting all the ways Frontier actually makes money and stays afloat. They have no idea how a telecom works, what it takes to have it all work in a cohesive fashion and they don't care. Their sole job was to cut people and items to get to profit so they can get paid. They have no care in the world if Frontier survives past their payday or if it has any success past profit and their payout. McCarthy, all the other C-Levels and Board Members have their golden parachutes and it shows in their pathetic and incompetent decisions.

Customer service is already horrible, that is why so many people have left Frontier. Every time I have called the reps have no idea what they are doing. Both service and customer service s---. Dying stock.... I left over 6 years ago from VZ and I still get the employee discount. Once that drops off, I will leave them too.

Verizon was a great company. Frontier is the one that s---s.... Frontier didn't/doesn't know how to handle FiOS.
