Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

July 15th

Got an email here in Indiana that reads;

As routes and volume change, we will implement the following process in order to support compensation throughout the transition effective July 15, 2019.

  1. Commissioned employees will be compensated for a minimum of 100% of their market target.

  2. Hourly employees will be compensated for a minimum of 8 hour/day up to 40 hours/week.

  3. Drivers and relief will be compensated for a minimum of 9 hours/day up to 45 hours/week.

  4. Compensation and hours will be reviewed on a 2 week rolling basis, and adjustments will be made on the payroll cycle following the review period.
