Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Merchandisers

Just got a message from our DSL that merchandisers will keep their roles longer through the transition. Supposedly it was confirmed from higher ups

In CA, being $15/hr through this is chump change. It’s practically minimum wage come January. Not worth it. Clock in 12 hours daily regardless

actually does make sense as it gives the accounts a litttle transition time helps support the ads that were already paid for and gives accounts time to hire more peple if needed. big accounts only but i can see nestle putting that in a contract to help it look better. maybe they hit a major player 4 times a week. cheaper for the merch to do it than a rsr or route relief. but as the routes get cut i can see the last man standing doing all of the merch too basically for free unless the pay structure is changed

This can’t be even remotely true whatsoever. Full of sheep here.

Actually it makes the most sense. Why pay PSR and RSR that are just “glorified merchandisers” anyways if they can cut the cost in half? Plus Merchandisers are also already started on the “warehouse” side of the business with NROC/shared Merch

Lol. The lies these people are posting are just hilarious. This one doesn’t even make any sense.
