I think they'll be in liquidation by March 2020.
Place was awesome in the 80-90's, but selling mostly cheap toys and low quality appliances for last 20 years. Sketchy and creepy employees with terrible customer service. Return process meant to make you feel like a criiminal.

Be gone already!

Fcuk Fry’s and I hope the owner goes to jail. They pushed Radio Shack out of business and now that they’re the only game in town to buy cords, memory and other little hobbyists c-ap, they’re going under. Serves them right for their arrogance in good times. Stingy mofos refusing to let me return an item because the plastic cover on the prongs on the power cord was missing. They were awful when you needed them and now I say screw them.

This leaves a vacuum where there’s no place to go pickup a weird connector or capacitor when you’ve got something apart on the kitchen table. ROTFL. As ye sow, so shall ye reap

The Frys grocery store is owned by Kroger (same company that owns FoodsCo/Food4less and ralphs). I walked into my local frys and noticed many people missing. I was told that half the team was laid off due to sales being low. I liked the store. But circuit city is making a comeback. Hopefully they realize that they need to adapt to an online platform with an app and customer service options like drive in pickup and such.

I stopped going to Frys a couple of years ago when they refused to make good on a stupid light bulb that failed after 3 months. Nonexistent customer service and general lameness has caught up with them. I remember shopping there when they only had components and junk food at their first store. Too bad, they had a good thing going and blew it. There was a Frys grocery store the same family ran and I believe it folded years ago. I would miss it if they gave a c-ap about me as a customer but....
