Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Cvs policy.

Isn’t it against cvs policy to open or close the store alone? And yet when I did the math the hours I have slated for July it’s impossible for 2 people to be in the store at all times. Screw this company I will schedule over and if they try to fire I will sue do to them trying to break the rules of their own policy.

CVS cares about one thing the bottom line. When they changed that policy it was the end of the road. Just too risky for not enough money. D--g stores have very high robbery rates. Shame on you CVS for treating your managers so poorly.

This allowing only ONE person to open or close a store WILL backfire! Mark my words! All you need is a store to get robbed at gunpoint with only one person working, and the robber decides to shoot anyway, and it's lawsuit city. OR the one person working gets fed up and quits right on the spot, leaving the store open and empty! Nothing good ever comes with cutting hours so bad, that two people is considered a luxury. Or for cvs 2 people is a full crew!

By policy - one can open, need two to close.

Actually its not against the rules. They updated that policy. Go to store Resources’s and look, it no longer says that you must have two people to open or close. They can change the rules anytime
