I guess IT isn't being completely outsourced if they got an airforce colonel to take over so the previous guy can spend some unexpected additional time with his family...
It's easy to layoff the remote WFH (work from home) folks. If they are in another group, you don't notice they are gone until you reach out and they are not there!
Laying off the security team is a new twist. Is IT security being outsourced?

Yes, layoffs today. Original note with 6/19 was pretty accurate. TSPD for sure. Don't know of others (sounds like Security maybe.)
There are layoffs coming in the it security department. The VP has already been replaced. His last day is the end of the month.
