I also work at BNYM and the company I loved is gone. They have had almost continuous layoffs for the last 18 months. They have an entire floor dedicated to laying people off in certain buildings. All that is left is open desks and fear.

I work at BNYM and we are experiencing the same layoffs you are. It has been going on every 3 months for at least 5 yrs. A lot of work being sent to India, they send whatever they can, employees remaining are stressed out! BNYM is a terrible place to work! Good luck to us all!
Maybe it's grass is greener syndrome but I'd much rather work at BNYM
