Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Does every depot have weird employees

I’ve been a employee here with nestle for 14 years. I’ve been a driver, route relief, salesmen, inventory lead, and merchandiser. I can honestly say it was the best job I’ve had ever had. Saying that I’ve worked with some of the strangest people. We have had some interesting people come and go over the years. I’ve seen people bring there kids to work with them to help them out, employees work off the clock and think there saving the company money. We had a employee who just got fired who put the wrong fuel in a diesel truck. He had over 5 write ups. I think this has to do with bad management and hiring the wrong people. I will miss my job and will always be thankful for having the opportunity to work here.

but its funny how the 20% a-- kissers and the 30 % double digit IQ’s get away with murder. The 50 percent solid workers make one mistake and get their asses handed to them. ridiculous.

Lol a bunch of nasty attitudes. I think December will be the end for most of us sadly!

We have one guy at our depot who talks the most, think he knows everything, but is the weakest link. He was under consideration to be in the DSL-D program by his DSL, but their was no way in HELL an ASL with any sense would have signed off.

The breakdown off most depots is probably 20% Go-Getters, 50% Solid Workers and 30% Incompetent and/or Lazy. It seems HR makes it almost impossible for managers to move out the 30%. Just an opinion from a seasoned employee.
