I think the Jaffes were part of the problem. They were focused on cost savings that made no sense such as printing at corporate headquarters and the price of black car taxi service. However, they had trusted executives who were making a pretty penny but not doing much. Moreover, they came to the ecommerce game too late. They did not put much into Dressbarn in terms of the stores, so it was dated and not seen as a cutting edge brand even though some of the fashion was really good. A lot of women are sad that this iconic brand is going out of business so there is a customer base.
It'll be unstable and a lot of cost cutting. Short, Mid and long term
