If Apple can get it done to compete against China then American companies should collaborate. Many tech companies gave China source code for free for many years due to greedy execs wanting a few percentage share in China's market. Now China is way ahead of US, so if Apple and Qualcomm can come up with something better then what China has, then American companies should work together and share the profits. Make it in USA and sell to the world with better security.
Wouldnt suprise me. Management is already bending backwards to their demands. So much for "treating them as any other customer"....
