Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Why wouldn’t they cut the lowest tenured people?

How do they decide which route to cut? Why wouldn’t they cut the lowest tenured sales rep, driver, merchandiser etc? I think they’d be leaving themselves vulnerable to a potential lawsuit when it would be just as easy to cut the lowest person and move things around. I predict they will cut AB routes and lowest tenured merchandisers and drivers as stores drop off and the higher tenured sales reps will have to expand their route. Will they take volunteers if someone has something lined up and they want to leave during the first round of cuts? I’m in Florida and we have lots of questions and no answers.

Good questions from Zu32lIJ-cpi.

Lots of favoritism here at our depot. Boss watching soccer games with spanish speaking employees and ufc fights. Alot alot of gambling going on as well. All the employees who kiss butt get treated way better. We already have a driver who is last in tenure saying he knows he will be one of the last workers to stay. I'm actually glad everyone is losing there jobs. I quit 2 weeks ago I had no reason to stay I was just hired in December when they only hired me by calling the wrong person to tell them they got the job. Alot of confusion going on here.

you should know its never based on tenure. It’s all about favoritism. It’s who they like
