GM should just move all operations to Detroit, everything, move it all! Close Warren and every facility they have and put it in one spot like Ford and FCA and stop all the people shuffling, use Detroit streets for autonomous and start the all electric infrastructure in the city areas, why is it always San Francisco? Because California wants to ban all ICE ! Rediculous. I want high speed rail systems going in and out of the city too, after all they aren't building cars anymore! Get on it and go mass transit.

Probably OP, thought it would demonstrate the typical id--ts that live and work in Warren? And the fact that all GM facilities are located in run down neighborhoods. Take a good look around, there is you're answer. Dearborn is a great place, let's hope it stays that way. Are you people from Michigan or new to the area? Take a ride down Gratiot to 9 or 8 mile! It is a great place to take the kids and raise a family, it's super safe!
I used to work in Dearborn, and it is night and day compared to Warren. Dearborn still has a lot of excellent mom and pop restaurants that service the Ford workers. Why doesn't Warren have the same thing? I'm referring to sandwich shops, diners, etc that are good for lunch (not a fancy chop house or Italian place). You'd think with 20K workers there would be decent places for lunch, but they are few and far between.

Yup it's Nast, and by the look of things soon to be a third world country, but hey what do you expect when you fleece Americans worker. Warren is absolutely a filth hole.
We don't go out for lunch because we don't want to risk food poisoning from the oxy addicted employees preparing the food.
How can anyone drive through Warren and not recognize that it's a dump? Nothing but run down strip malls, dollar stores and pill mills. I had to stop in the WalMart at 12 and Van Dyke on the way home and it was like being at a convention for meth heads. And I'm not going to f'ing Andiamo's (which is nothing special, btw) for lunch.
Mr Paul's chop House is an institution , very old and awesome ! All of my family is from the Eastside , My Clemons and Old East Detroit , lots of Italians in those days.
There are good restaurants in Warren, and the East Side. You are just too cheap to pay the price. Most GM White Collar employees are cheap on even going out to lunch. Cheap also on vacation planning unless GM was paying for trip. I know I was one of them. Get a supplier to take you to Andiamo, Mr Paul’s Steakhouse, or Mario’s.

They should consider moving everything like how FCA has it set up , right off the freeway and in a non ghetto area , the image of the company is in the toilet as it is , guess that's how they like to do business , in the nasty toilets of the Detroit subs

Ever notice all GM facility's are located in the ghetto? With the exception of M---ord , give it time though. Pontiac same thing , ghetto. Why can't GM be more like FCA and Ford and be located in clean safe areas like Dearborn and Auburn Hills. Warren used to be a great place , not anymore.
If you do not like Warren. Quit and go elsewhere.
Warren is by far the biggest dump of a city I’ve ever worked in. There aren’t any restaurants near the tech center that I trust not to give me food poisoning.
