I can see how BCG put all the right buzzwords to tantalize pointy haired bosses, but Ford didn’t implement it that way. BCG mentions removing silos, but it’s already apparent from Waves 1 & 2 that the silos are intact. Don’t be fooled...this is all about convincing Wall Street we’re doing something.

BTW, did BCG really say to implement it very slowly to let morale deteriorate before it’s completed? No successful business leader I know would do that.

Good article actually, and very true... but unfortunately,that is not what Ford is doing this round. There are those that have this vision, and those that don't. Do you really think your ll4's and above, the ones who have the list cuts know who these people are?
