SAS management doesn't have any business sense. SAS is probably not in a position to buy anything but the farm. SAS's pipeline is about as strong as an old man's ere—.

Still waiting for your dud prediction to come true. Junior school kids shouldn't really try to make themselves feel important on this platform

That would be like the Cloudera Hortonworks merger or a merger of Sears and KMart to quote the great OR!

I’m sorry for the guy that say TD is #1

Today another RIF is in place and Snowflake got 10 TD customers in only 2 months .

All the hiring is frozen

Simple TD product has been always #1.

Even now no other company is trying to bring all analytics together. The vantage allows you do this. Yes company might not survive only HW. This approach of vantage is north star.

A question to the guy that say TD is a good company. Why is good ?

  • good business model?

  • new technology?

  • great partners ?

  • great HR?

  • attractive for talent?

Please explain

Either very sarcastic or just wrong, no new customers, consulting a wreck, and at least getting short term revenue from conversion to subscription from term. Their highly publicized Teradata Answers tour has shown Teradata sales people attending training I guess to fill seats. Sell! It was a great company, all the people that made it that way are gone.

Absolute garbage that our executives cannot even talk to the business. My experience was that most of the high $$ salaried employees couldn’t even hold a conversation about their business, made for some interesting listening and interruptions to set these f---ers straight. It’s an embarrassment to us that busted our asses year over year and actually knew what the hell was going on. I didn’t work in the Dayton office but that team was the best around and knew there stuff inside and out.

Good companies want to buy high performing companies who click on all cylinders and deliver consistent revenue growth and profit.

TDC is not even close. In fact, TDC is a bad company as the Q1 results show. It was funny to hear our c levels struggle answering questions about the business. Mark said,,,but our funnel is strong and we are confident. They don’t believe him or Oliver and stock drops almost 20 per cent. Good work Mark and Oliver!

So a private company is going to buy a public one. Will they stay private. What ever happened about SAP, are they still in the mix
