So far they been offering Severance to associates than been affected by structure changes. Any word from stores that are currently going thru the Great Workplace restructure? This is probably affecting more associates than previous changes and won't be surprised if walmart pulls Severance option of the table. I hope not after 25 years I'm mentally done with this place. It would be my luck it's not offered this time around.

Severance packages are usually for C/D, long term associates and salaried positions. I don't believe it's realistic for hourly O/N associates to expect severance.

I have been mentally done with this stupidity too. Yep, cheating us long term associates and trying to get rid of us. Shameful isn't it?
I've heard from several displaced over night associates, that a severance was not offered. They were told that their position wasn't eliminated it just moved to another shift. Smoothe talking high paid lawyers figured out how to keep us from getting any severance. Also, being you didn't take the 4 am to 1pm shift, you will be listed as refusing work and will be ineligible for unemployment. I'm tired of the uncertainty, the lied and the c-ap. I'm going to give them what they think that want. Many long time associates have just quit I. The part few months for the same reasons I mentioned above. Walmart will regret it! Believe me in a few years or less all of these changes will bite them in the back pocket..
Haven't heard but I'm sure they will find a way to cheat us long term people out of something I'm sure. I'm mentally done with this stupidity also
