Integration Process

Hearing that it will take over a year after closing to merge Anadarko's data with Oxy. Why so long? Is it due to Oxy working on the SAP project now?

Based on yesterday's townhall, integration can be defined heterogenous. The future state of each asset defines integration. An asset deemed to be in the portfolio long term will be integrated right away. Others that are for sale will be maintained or optimized as a way of attracting buyers. Integrating the later assets is a want vs. need decision.

Is Oxy converting to SAP or upgrading existing SAP? Anadarko has been on SAP for about 12 years now.

I heard SAP would be on hold to have the same people work on integration. Probably all rumors at this point.

I doubt it will take a full year
