It's been over a year since I've been laid off and by now I've moved on to a better position where I don't have to constantly worry about closings or morality of some of the things I was asked to do. All those people who said there's better life after DCEH/AI were right.
I'm surprised to see this page still this active, though. I thought it was all gone by now. What's still standing?
Scum, pretty much the truth. I found federal fraud & thought the new owners would want to address it . Found myself out the door that next week. Whistleblowers cannot pick bare bones. They will lose title IV funding soon. Karma is a bugger.

So now you know how it feels to have someone at one of these sham schools tell you (as I was) in an a--hole and dispassionate tone to 'move on, 'get over it' and then have it topped off it off with the most absurd and incredulously sociopathological statement of all 'what are your allegations?' And yes, I've begrudgingly 'owned it' as I was so compassionately advised to do.
So I'm not going to say to you that karma exists because you have clearly stated how misfortune has reigned down on you and yours while leaving the true culprits to go scott-free. But Kudos to you nonetheless for at least attempting to come clean.
It's a shame that we as human beings can too often fall into the trap of being able to convince ourselves that depredation of others is alright as long as there's money to made in doing so.
We are better than this.
Morality? you little punk, I'm not starting students for the thrill of f---ing victory here, I owe rent, alimony, child support, I start students for money, my kids eat, I got morality enough not to stop people from pursuing their education of f---ing pipe dreams of winning the Nobel Peace Prize for my morality on The History Channel, but about the morality I've got to turn my back, I've got to say no.

Don't come here with the usual half-baked mea culpa looking for some sort of absolution and then tell us how wonderful things are for you now that you don't have to deal with the pangs of of conscience and scum that 'asked' you to do their nefarious bidding. Western State College of Law is Active. We continued to stay open past March 22nd closure date, students were forced to take finals, had no financial aid, many were told to take a leave of absence... It has been a disgrace. We are holding out for "Westcliff University" to buy us.
