Fair is fair, if you have thousands upon thousands helping you as well as the city manger and well as the Governor and are able to speak for them as well as all those who are at what once was cableas and the community of Sidney as well as the complete surrounding area. , Then this one poster who has destroyed everything in your opinion can speak for the rest.

Just saying, unless this is a double standard, that it is OK for you to speak for the multitudes, insult and degrade all those who disagrees with you etc. While the rest of us have the option to shut up and listen to your 'wisdom;. as out option.
What an amazing poster we have. The other day this poster claimed to be speaking for all distribution center employees before he started his horrible insults about them. This poster has moved on to bad mouthing the retail store. He NOW speaks for bass pro management I GUESS and as we know this guy have already predicted five stores to close which never did. I GUESS THE QUESTION COULD BE IF THIS GUY POST 100 COMMENTS ABOUT NEGATIVE THINGS HAPPENING IN SIDNEY ISNT THERE A CHANCE HE MIGHT BE RIGHT ONE TIME.
Sidney has always been a low performing store. That's a metric measured in sales per square foot. Do you not understand the basics of retail merchandising. It is irrelevant if it is crowded one day, a tourist draw, or the outfitters are nice. It's business. To increase margins (corporate profits) you close your low performing stores. This is not a new concept.
Outfitters at the Sidney store should be looking at relocating to a community that has better job prospects. If that store closes Applebees, the mexican restaurants will soon follow.
LOL, A sporting good store is the biggest tourist draw in the state of Nebraska. That says a lot about the tourism industry in Nebraska.
News flash Einstein,. Cabela's is no more it is now a subsidiary, shelf brand for Bass Pro, on it's way to being phased out.
Cabela's ceased to before the ink was even dry.
Time to let it go move on to other opportunities to be a saviour.

The truth is you have your side set on hurting Cabelas and Cabelas employees and you no matter how many times you say so everyone know it one person posting this type of comment. I have so many people working with me to make a difficult situation better rather it is the city manager the governor or even thousands and thousands of employees or loyal customers..

Come on do you really think anyone believes you were not the one person who man mouthed the Sidney distribution center and Sidney distribution center employees for several months and now you are bad mouthing the retail store. You fool no one at all. I am sure the Sidney Cabela's store is very busy today if a person drives out their today. I know many of the employees who work there is doing their very best to insure the customer have a very enjoyable time at the store. So you can go on posting your hate and I guess you can claim you speak for everyone in the united states that no one likes the Cabelas store if you want but one person. HOWEVER A FEW WEEKS AGO I SAW THE CITY OF SIDNEY CITY MANAGER AT A FUNCTION WEARING A BASS PRO CAP SO THEIR IS AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT BASS PRO.
That is the most silly comment I would never say bass pro would keep two corporate headquarters or there would be no sale. I have based by quotes are facts and not like him who is rooting for the worst possible outcome for Cabela's possible and all his post reflect this. He has now turned his hate toward the retail store. Although he seems to have a lot of hate yet for the distribution center employees also.
Everything I said was a true statement based on facts and research. Of course I would never say there would be no sale or two corporate headquarters. This guy is the one who makes all those predictions based not on facts but the most negative outlook to Cabela's possible. He is doing it again my attacking hard working Sidney residents who is going to work to make sure the Sidney Cabela's store continue to be a very popular attraction in western Nebraska. Of course his logic is only one person thinks this even thru polls have been conducted which consider the Cabela's store the most popular attraction in western Nebraska. The guy to me is getting so out of control with reality.
You forgot his prediction...that Bass Pro would have two corporate headquarters, one in Springfield one in Sidney.
To the person who was fired from Cabela's. You are the one who post over and over and over to yourself. Give me break no one but you post to yourself. the fact is the state of Nebraska conducted a survey and the number one favorite tourist attraction in western Nebraska was the Cabela's STORE . I myself think you pose a real danger to the retail store with all the anger you have showed on this site for Cabela's and Cabela's employees. EVERONE I HAVE TALKED TO THINK YOU ARE A TOTAL NUTCASE
Just remember the guy who said not to worry has been wrong about every rumor. Cabelas wont be sold. Corporate won't be downsized. No layoffs. SIdney will find other big businesses to fill gap. DC will remain open.

To the poster who is worried if these rumors are true. I might mention rumors like this have been posted five times before on this site and all five times they were wrong so I wouldn't spend much time worrying about this rumor.
I am from Cheyenne Wyoming and I have so many friends who shop at the Cabela's store in Sidney. The next time you are out at the Cabela's store look at the license plates and you will usually see several Wyoming plates. I know here in Cheyenne the retail business is usually so much slower during the winter month . I have seen business picking up lately on our visits to the Cabela's store lately.
I was out at the retail store Friday night and the store was busy. The boat selections is so much fun to look at and they have an amazing inventory of boats.
I am a regular shopper at the Cabela's retail store at Sidney. I am have been so happy with how helpful , and how nice the entire retail staff at the store has always been to me. The weekends I shop are usually very busy and the store really seems to picking up for the summer.
