FTTH talking union?!?!

Heard a lot of FTTH guys talking Union. How would that work being it’s a “temporary assignment”?

They are all part of IBEW 1049 in Freeport/Bethpage.

Ftth should just be union also. When they go back to their home shop after the project or all work is given all to contractors they would be accepted into the union at their home shop. This was confirmed by big wigs at a big meeting.

All the FTTH on LTA & Construction dept in Freeport/Bethpage are union. About 70% voted yes. I’m surprised they didn’t vote yes in Morris.

they were invited to the Morris Show and most said no. Too bad if and when they ever come back, they will automatically be in the union.
