I’m sitting here listening to all you guys whining about safety and how everyone has the day off. I gotta go with vex on this one. Everyone else I know had to go to work. If your working for a business that’s on its last leg, you would better shut up and do some work and stop playing the entitled ‘aren’t we a safety company’ card.

That's what A New Kind of Company is. A chimera, a mashup, with mutated DNA. We said safety is in our DNA, we didn't say it is priority. Middle managers who are worried about their bonuses will look at the skies and say, "never mind those funnel clouds over Cypress and Tomball and those 'take cover immediately' alerts last night, I'm an EXPERT ON THE WEATHER! And I'm an expert on Onshore EPC!!"
No, you are what's wrong with MDR.
"Safety. It's in our DNA." So, what? Is it a recessive gene?
20,000,000 people under flash flood watches. Houston Flood Control warning people to stay home. 250 high water rescues. Emergency services running drills and on high alert. 64,000 power outages. Hail big enough to knock you unconscious. 18 school districts closed.
DD pay, $7,500,000. Stewie-pid's pay, $3,500,000. Costs cuts at the expense of employees, $450,000,000. MDR loss in the 12 months before you lazy Americans tried to steal a day's pay this Friday, $2,900,000,000.
What condescension. I could, WE could, do our jobs perfectly and by the book and it won't add 1 second of life to this company. It might get a coupla suppliers paid a day earlier.
Typical of middle management...marching to the drum of upper management.., the blame is misdirected. l am not the reason this company is failing. I am not grateful for any pittance of benefit doled out like I am begging to F--in. Yes I do want more. BJF is not enough. If I am going to fix it, I want more, not the less I've gotten for 366 days. Don't like my attitude? Fire me.Do my job too.
Look upward. Figure out how to do their jobs. Because they s---. Then talk to me about my role rowing like a galley slave and I will think about it.
Read this with a mocking disdainful tone of voice...
"That's right. The company's survival depends on you showing up for work today. Kids off school? F--- it, f--- them! They're BABIES, but you're a grown up. Worried about flash floods or getting caught in a storm coming home? Man up and grow up pair, would you?
The company is on its last goddamn leg, and it depends on YOU WORKING TODAY!
The company's state has nothing to do with a series of dumb--s decisions made by the Assclown League! Nothing! NOTHING!!
Nothing to do with management buying a company that was almost bankrupt, taking on all its debt, taking on the Fu-cus Projects, nothing to do with getting into an industry that you know nothing about!
It's about you ingrates showing up for work today. Hardly anybody dies in flashfloods in Houston, usually only a couple per storm! Babies! BABIES!
You should be grateful for the bountiful blessings poured out by management for your overpriced services! We can easily get someone somewhere on this planet to take 10% of your pay to do the same work. 'Actually We're Hiring' in case you aren't paying attention.
Great pay. Great benefits. Great insurance. Great offices. And yet you whine. And on our first anniversary! How low of you!"
