Be careful what you post.

Getting Legal to monitor this site is like trying to remove thermometer that tells you there is a fever. Now there is external predator. Legal, are you monitoring right thing? Your salary also comes from our German Engineering

SAP Legal, if you are still monitoring this site, I suggest you spend more time evaluating and giving feedback to Management on how to fend off activist Hedge Funds!

I was searching other boards regarding this 'legal monitors' claim and saw this useful thread on "DELETIONS": @XsSr7KD-mun

https://www.thelayoff.com/t/XsSr7KD

On deletions, someone posted this a couple of days ago, source below:

I've been on this site since 2015 (first with Verizon and now with GM) so hear me out:

  • mods/admins exist, they are silent tho

  • they delete messages, sometimes in bulk (eg all threads or all messages you ever posted by you or someone else may be nuked)

  • they block ip addresses, some vpns will not work as they are already blocked

  • some words are blocked and trigger reviews, try to enter xes in reverse and they'll review you

  • here are things that will trigger a review, purge or block: swearing, use of names, politics, attacking other people

  • got blocked once, never heard back from them and had to switch ip

  • if someone is crossing the line you can report it on the contact page

  • dont post in weird threads, they may bulk block you (if you do, use vpn)

  • they really cannot stop you posting, use a vpn and you are ok - if you are using a vpn, dont use bing ones like nordVPN as they have them blocked - pick a smaller providedr

  • try to avoid any discussion about race or identity groups, they dont f around with that - that's like an instant ban and all your older messages get deleted

i am sure there is more stuff that i am forgetting but this is it in the nutshell...

This Lay-off website purpose, as quoted, is “The purpose of this site is to provide a space for anyone who'd like to discuss the possibility, likelihood or impacts of layoffs in a company of interest”

Is the purpose illegal?

Is discussing possibilities and likelihood and impacts illegal?

Is possibilities subjective?

Do we need a data scientist to quantify the possibilities or likelihoods or impacts in the discussion, for it to be legal or illegal?

Are all readers’ brain not working? We SO need the Legal team to help us sieve or edit the postings on this website?

Do the affected employees of the organization changes and management decisions, not have a place to share their own journeys and perspective? Are their views void? Only management views are correct? Management quotes on the lay-off can be quantified too? Should Management run the numbers and show us the analysis of the 4400 that are laid off? Is their profile representative of the general SAP population? Is the profile representative for voluntary or involuntary lay-off?

I wonder whether SAP Legal get rationalised too? Does Legal department also have a “goal” for “early talents”?

if you have incriminating evidence, print out hard copies, so you will always have a copy even if they delete the soft copy.

HR thinks they are so smart by using the term "Early Talent" which is quite obvious that they are not interested in applicants over a certain age group. Someone should ask them for some clarifications on that term. I think they are gambling on the fact that no one will complain to the labour department about this age discrimination practice - I have an email from one of the HR recruiters stating that the job position that I applied for is targeted for "early talents".

The truth is out there ....

Because some of us have incriminating evidence that could result in multiple lawsuits. I am one of them. Some of my post are being deleted, even if I so much as touch on those subjects.

I have in my possession emails between legal and HR discussing how to avoid age discrimination hiring practices. They are hilarious, HR says, “how do we hire people under 30?” Legal replies, you can “have goals but not targets.” HR says ok we will set KPIs for under 30, Legal replies, and says no we need better language. HR comes up with “early talents.” It goes on for weeks between HR leadership and Legal.

I have emails from sales leadership directing me to mislead customers.

I have an email from a Rob Enslin, that says “this is great, now I do not need to lie to customers”

Let’s see how long until this post is deleted. If it is I might just post those emails. TRUTH!
