Binford is a business wiz. He perfected the business of going from company to company running up expenses and delivering nothing until they figure out he's worthless.

Many of my colleagues say that Sungard was an leader and will be again an leader after all the management calls that happened over the past few weeks telling everyone that all is ok and we are really doing good and nothing to worry about.

I have been working in SG for past 4 years as an Architect and I really don't see any positive, the LT is still clueless as to where the future lies, the product line is not in tune to the market demand, they just have talk but are totally disconnected from reality, for long they have been living in the past when they were leaders and failed to see the signs in an changing landscape.

I really admire my colleagues who feel positive and there is nothing wrong in being positive but we need to understand the situation at hand. Things cannot turn around after 1st May as many believe. The signs are were always there we just need to accept and deal it in our own personal way.

Where we are today is an cumulative effect of all the actions and inactions the LT has taken and simply cannot be changed overnight.

I am deeply moved by this comment. I also feel some positive vibe coming from some coworkers and it’s going to catch on. Sungard has rich history, the pioneer of disaster recovery and I can see Binford have a plan. I agree, let’s give him a chance. We have to be optimistic and make positive energy into company and make it work. I am fired up! vámonos all the way, amigos!

The only thing Binford has up his sleeve is a plane ticket for his trip the f*** out of Dodge as soon as 5/1 hits

It always takes hard work to get positive results. I believe in this new Sungard. And don’t forget we have Binford who is a business wiz. I can’t believe the LT will just let this company go down the drain. My feeling is Binford has something up his sleeve that will be a game changer and turn things around.

And who can blame them? You can be shown the door at any second. And why give to a company that has done nothing but lie about everything (look to other posts). I'm trying to get out asap. It's not healthy and doesn't help the already anxiety ridden aspect of this place that's been going on for years now.

Yes, I see the same feeling in India also. People are scared and all day discuss about what is going to happen. No one cares about customer issues, all are trying to get job outside. It is pathetic situation.
