Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Any indication of a new wave of layoffs?

Just can’t make peace with the fact that there will be no more massive waves of layoffs before the year ends. Has anyone heard anything? Is anything in the making and when can we expect to have more info at least in the rumor form?

Hearing week of 13th and week of 20th are the primary weeks.

Of course this turning into such a clusterF that all that will happen is they lay off X employees and then a few months later hire X*4 employees and then promote a bunch more people.

I’m hearing week of 4/15 for PD. EPE managers and supervisors went to lunch on Friday. A “goodbye” lunch? CR 20 in FEL booked “until further notice”.

We are hearing Sprinkling of layoffs in April and early May. Mid May to late May expect some layoffs. The numbers, dates and areas of emphasis change as higher structure evolves. Farley will need the opportunity to mark his territory

Wave 4, the final wave of the smart redesign, will be completed for the US in mid-late May. Expect to see LL5-LL6 (maybe some GSR) layoffs.
