I’m not saying that that fact reduces the leadership’s guilt for the layoffs and the manner in which they were conducted, but the fact is that Electric cars AV’s or whatever are a totally different industry , with different processes, therefore in demand for a very different type of workers than we have right now. The ones that are still employed need to know that they’ll be on the chopping block sooner rather than later, and the smart thing to do is to try to move out of the business entirely, better yet, intensify the job search while still employed.
