Another round of layoffs this week! A lot of good people got laid off. How much more cutting can they do?!?

From Feb 12 to April 12 (just 2 months), there’s been 5 rounds of layoffs. Is this normal for a growing company that is doing well? NO!! Get out while you can
“How much more cutting can they do?!?” As long as there are people still there, they can do more cutting. Honestly feel bad for the folks still there who are drinking the kool-aid. It’s like they’re in an abusive relationship. “If I just work harder, they’ll keep me.” Sad, sad, sad.
What teams got impacted?
LOL @ a sinking ship with a fancy new mast, clever and true!
Did any NAD Sales Teams get wacked?
The beatings will continue until morale improves
that’s a great analogy. “Sinking ship with a fancy new mast”. Yes, redesigning the mast with a new logo does not fix a sinking ship!! especially if you are laying off half the crew.
The skeleton crew will eventually drown working day and night, or eventually be thrown overboard.
This is too funny—— so wait are you telling me SP laid off all the folks that “put together” the sales meeting in Orlando??? Any other fools still believing the HYPE? I am convinced that everyone who is still there has Stockholm syndrome!!!!
Robots do not need training and development only programming or re-education camps(I.e. Floridia sales meeting)
Why is everyone surprised? The entire Training & Development group was laid off last week (75 people). Shows how much Staples values it’s assiciates and training.
Just making room for W.B. Mason after the FTC is done with there 60 day comments period.
The cutting will continue. It’s a sinking ship with a fancy new mast, looking for some
m-ron to buy it.
