@YxIczhU-xqy - I am not defending Predix, the platform (non-existant). But Meridium is sh-- as well. It’s nothing but some custom database mainly supported with services. No way GE should have paid $500M for such a piece of sh--.
As for the SCADA products - yes they do make money and generate cash. But they are not growing products and you can’t justify a big team for those products. The only piece that makes money and is still growing is the SmartSignal piece of the pie.
Unfortunately, the Meridium folks are driving everyone else away
@YxIczhU-fxk look at revenue numbers, at least Proficy products/Meridium products are still generating cash. Predix, after so many years, and so much money, is nothing. That is a shame!

Wow! This time they didn't even spare the India teams (in the first RIF, entire teams from SR were moved to India with lower cost as the justification). The end for GE DIgital as we have known it is near. It'll be back to Proficy Cimplicity/IFIX and Meridium (folks from those parts are in-charge at the moment anyways). What a shame!
