So there was a post on here yesterday regarding school closings and firings in California...now it's gone. Anyone know if that was true? Did they close down more Ai campuses yesterday?

Yeah... finally!
Isn't judge Parker the hanging judge at of Fort Smith, Arkansas?
Just in the interest of clarity would you name a few of the schools that would accept a transfer student with 144 credits?
To further clarify. This teachout would have happend at Studio Schools "campus" (their campus is just temp rented space).
They really pulled hard to get students, they went as far as sending false letters to Ai students in CA (those with over 144 credits) that their credits were not transferable anywhere else.
The posting was about "Studio School"
Thet had courted tons of Ai students with a promise of a full teachout for thier programs, they even gave as much as 50% tuition reduction.
They never asked permission of the DOE though. They were trying to fly under the radar.
They hired tons of Ai Ca staff and took equipment from the Ai Hollywood campus. Put everything together, and then just as the term was about to begin this week they pulled the plug on everything as it was "not financially viable".
So students are without a school.yet again
I am.one of the instructors they hired and then let go.
It's ultimately perhaps for the better, the teachout plans were borderline criminal (things such as teach 5 classes at a time).
Studio school is run by lots of former Dreamcenter higher ups so probably no surprise.
SD and Hollywood have been closed since Mar 8
Exactly... that's why I was confused also!
I'm confused what that post was stating. I thought the last of the Ai CA schools closed at the beginning of March. The only two that remained at that point were San Diego and Hollywood and they were part of DCEH. Studio only took the eight campuses in TX, FL, Atlanta, and Virginia Beach.
